PSM II Preparation Materials

What Should you Study to Pass the Scrum Master II (PSM II)?

Preparing for the Professional Scrum Master™ II (PSM II) certification requires more than memorizing the Scrum framework — it tests your ability to apply Scrum in real-world, complex environments. Here’s what you need to study:

1. Master the Scrum Guide

The Scrum Guide is the foundation of all Scrum certifications. To succeed in PSM II, you must fully understand (Read the Scrum Guide at least 5 times):

  • Scrum roles and their accountabilities

  • Scrum events and artifacts

  • The Definition of Done

  • Scrum values and the principles of empiricism
